About Us
Energy WorkNet is led by licensed professional engineer Stephen Eber.
With more than 40 years of technical and business experience in the energy sector, Steve brings hands-on expertise and visionary thinking to every project. His early career included work in nuclear, fossil-fuel and cogeneration systems, while over the past decade he has focused on renewable energy—solar PV, battery storage, biofuels, renewable gas, and wind energy.
His background spans the full project lifecycle—from development, to design and engineering, to implementation—across both new facilities and complex retrofit environments. His project portfolio sits across renewable and conventional power, including photovoltaic and battery-storage systems, renewable-gas and hydrogen initiatives, plant upgrades, large scale heat pump systems, and efficiency and demand-management programs.
With experience creating energy master plans, practical planning for GHG reduction and grid resiliency, he now supports clients using a practical, solutions-focused approach to plan and implement effective, future-ready energy strategies.
